SOKKIA GSR Family Config Tool for PC v9.3.2

GSR Family Config Tool enables you to connect to GSR 700 series
receivers to configure volume, language, factory reset POWERUP
configuration, and timer LED settings, as well as upgrade the
receiver user application and OEM firmware. If the receiver has a radio,
you can also use the Config Tool to configure the UHF or GSM/GPRS radio
settings.

If the receiver has a GSM/GPRS radio, you can set it to
automatically start up as an NTRIP source when operating it as a mobile
reference station (MRS) base.

GSR Family Config Tool is designed to run on a PC with Microsoft Windows
2000, XP, or Vista installed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Copy the .zip file to your PC.

2. Extract the files from the .zip file to a location on your PC.

NOTE: Ensure that you extract all the files to the same folder location.

Starting the software
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT: If you are configuring a receiver that contains a radio, ensure
that the receiver is off and remove the radio antenna. The
receiver must not be receiving data. (NEVER remove the radio
antenna while the receiver is on. Doing this will damage the
            radio.)

1. Turn on the receiver.

2. Connect to the receiver's COM1 port from your PC using a serial cable
or Bluetooth connection. For more detailed connection instructions,
refer to the Operations Manual for the receiver.

CAUTION: If you are planning to upgrade radio firmware or receiver User
Application/OEM firmware, DO NOT use Bluetooth communication. When
upgrading the User Application or firmware, connect to the
receiver using a serial-to-LEMO cable (not a USB-to-PC cable), and
ensure that you have a reliable source of power while performing
the upgrade (use the AC adapter to power the receiver).

3. Double-click the .exe file to start the software.

4. Refer to the application's help for detailed instructions for using the
   software.

NOTE: If you are using Vista, download and install the Windows Help
program (WinHlp32.exe) from the Microsoft website at
         http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607. Installing this program
allows you to access the Config Tool help.
